Adrian Myhr is a very active bassist based in Oslo. As a musician his main focus is on playing free improvised music, and he does that with bands like Oker, Whirl, Myhr/Doneda and Lindvall/Myhr/Gismervik. He has been working for a long time with double bass solo concerts and have played in Norway, Sweden, Chile and Japan with this project. Through different playing techniques he is expanding the sound vocabulary of the double bass. The music has an orchestral expression, where several ideas can occur simultaneously.
It moves slowly over a long time, but always with a clear and precise direction.
